It turned out that vapes aren’t just bad for your health, but they are also bad for your car. A woman in Florida shared a video where she was left stranded on a road. She then filmed her car as it was completely engulfed by fire. “I’m not coming into work today,” she tried to joke. As she continued making jokes, she revealed at the end of the video that her car had been completely burned. There was no coming back from this because there was nothing left to fix. She only has her vape to blame, though, since it was what caused the fire. You would think that this would be enough to make her stop vaping, but this didn’t happen. She shared another video where she wrote in the caption, “lesson wasn’t learned. I’m still vaping.” In a third video, she added that she had already gone and bought another vape.
Since everyone wanted to know how a vape made a car burn down, the Florida woman shared a storytime explaining what happened. She said that she had an electronic vape that was from the Raz brand. Allegedly, the vape was on her center console charging while she was driving and it was charging for about an hour. When she tried to grab the vape, she had to immediately throw it away somewhere in the car because of how hot it was. Instead of checking where it went, she kept driving. It didn’t take long for her to notice that there was smoke coming from her passenger floorboard. The moment she noticed the smoke, flames erupted. Thankfully, she managed to jump out of the car and proceeded to call 911. The only good side here is that she is safe and that she managed to save her important belongings.
People Reacting to the Florida Woman’s Vape Burning Her Car
People couldn’t believe that the Florida woman’s car burned down just because of a vape. This terrifying situation made many vape users claim that they wanted to quit this habit. “A VAPE DID THAT?! [Expletive] I need to quit these things,” one person wrote. Another netizen penned, “And this is 100,099,986,667 reasons why I need to stop vaping.” Others focused more on how the woman shouldn’t have shared what happened so she won’t harm her insurance chances. “I would not have said anything about the vape insurance company gonna try to deny coverage,” someone advised her. Another person then replied, “Doubt it, insurance is for sudden and accidental loss. They’ll cover this under comprehensive coverage.” One woman even expressed, “As an insurance adjuster, until your insurance deals with this i would delete this.”
Several people then started blaming the Florida woman for what happened. They pointed out that she shouldn’t have left her vape charging for an hour. “A HOUR! U dont charge ur vape for that long,” one person wrote. Another person then added, “first red flag ugh this is terrible, the longest I’ll ever keep mine on the charger is like 45 minutes.” At least this video served as a warning to many as someone else wrote, “Omg… I put mine on a charger before bed every night… like right next to my head! I’ve never thought about it! Thankfully I’ve never felt it get hot but I’m changing my ways starting tonight.” Others also decided to stop using the brand that the woman was using. Whatever they end up doing, hopefully this won’t happen to anyone else.
