A Florida woman says she is fed up with her brother’s girlfriend after allegedly discovering that she had been taking her clothes without permission. The latest incident involved a Brandy Melville red tank top and a mini shorts set the woman had purchased three weeks earlier. She claims the discovery led to several other missing items being found in her brother’s bedroom.
The story was shared by Alyvia Grace on her TikTok account, @_alyviagrace. The video received more than one million views, with viewers debating whether the situation was a case of repeated theft or an unusually messy family dispute.
Grace said she noticed the red tank top and mini shorts set were missing and then realized other clothes had disappeared from her wardrobe as well. She decided to check her brother’s bedroom, where his girlfriend also kept some of her belongings. According to Grace, she found the missing clothes in the girlfriend’s dirty laundry.
Among the items the Florida woman said she found were leggings, a sports bra, a zip-up and several other pieces of clothing. Grace claimed this was not the first time her brother’s girlfriend had taken something from her.
She recalled another incident involving one of her hoodies. According to Grace, the girlfriend allegedly took the hoodie and wore it. When Grace confronted her, the girlfriend reportedly claimed she thought Grace was giving it away because it had been left out in the open while Grace was briefly away handling another matter.
Florida Woman’s Closet Drama Has TikTok Losing It
The story triggered a strong response from TikTok users, many of whom said repeatedly taking someone’s clothes without permission crossed a clear boundary. Some were particularly disturbed by the alleged theft of personal garments such as a sports bra and bralette. Others shared stories of their own siblings’ partners allegedly taking clothes, underwear, skincare, haircare and other belongings.
Several commenters urged the Florida woman to take extra steps to protect her things. Suggestions included putting a lock on her bedroom or wardrobe, with some recommending keypad or fingerprint locks. Others told her to check whether jewelry or other valuables were missing as well. “Get a camera or lock your door,” one user wrote.
Some viewers questioned why the alleged behavior had continued for so long. Others suggested Grace confront the girlfriend, involve her parents or take stronger steps to prevent her from entering the room. A few commenters said the girlfriend should be banned from the house entirely.
However, some viewers were skeptical of the story. A few questioned whether Grace’s videos could be staged for engagement. Others felt family disputes like this should be handled privately rather than posted online.
At this point, viewers seem to agree on one thing: the Florida woman may need a lock on her door before anything else mysteriously disappears.
