A Florida woman gained attention on TikTok after she made a phone call for an appointment at her local nail salon. Always coming back for business, she didn’t expect them to turn her away. Unfortunately, her phone call left her with more questions than answers. Margot (@margotwolfner) says she’s searching for nail salon recommendations in the Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens area. Why? Well, apparently, her usual nail salon doesn’t want her as a customer anymore.
Margot found out that she won’t be returning to her current nail salon after deciding to call for a new appointment. When she made the “baffling call,” she introduced herself and asked if she could have an appointment with two workers, May or Tim. May herself answered the phone. She, said, “Tim doesn’t work here anymore and I don’t wanna do your nails.”
Taken aback, Margot asked May what she meant by that. May repeated herself, “I don’t wanna do your nails.” So, Margot questioned, “Is there a reason you don’t wanna do my nails?” May answered, “No. Just because I don’t wanna do your nails.”
Margot was entirely confused by the conversation. However, she told May she would just go somewhere else to get her nails done. May responded, “Okay” and then hung up on her. Margot tells her audience that she was shocked by the interaction. She’s been going to that nail salon for two years now. She’s been trying to reflect on what went wrong. She said she always tips them and is always quiet when she’s getting her nails done. The only thing she could think of was that she made a video about a nail color she got in the past that she didn’t like, but she didn’t blame the salon for that. All in all, this experience left her “so confused” because why would a business just decide to drop a customer?
