The game has a rather rich narrative. Tantas ruled the land of Athia, powerful sorcerers loved by the people of Athia. However, when the land became corrupted, all fell apart.
Now, it is your mission to bring back peace to the beautiful land of Athia. One of the detours from the main campaign will be finding all Tanta’s Familiars locations. Read this guide to find out what Tanta Familiars are and their locations in Forspoken.
What are Tanta’s Familiars?
Tanta’s Familiars in Forspoken are cat-like creatures that belonged to Tantas, who ruled the Athia. These adorable cat-like creatures could negate all the dangers in this magical land. Each creature has a unique distinction from the other, be that wings, horns, or stripes, these fluffy feelings were showered with love and care.
They were put aside and locked in the monuments. Now, you can find them all and befriend them to unlock the Cat Person achievement in Forspoken.
Tanta’s Familiar Locations in Forspoken
There are 20 Tanta’s Familiars in Forspoken. You will see paw icons on the map in every region where a familiar monument is present. In the list below, we will share Familiars’ names and locations.
- Advik – Advik’s monument is located north of Sacred Peaks Refuge near Cipal.
- Mia – this Tanta familiar’s location is in the Praenost region west of Dianthus Wood Belfry. An orange cat will spawn at the rocky mountain.
- Clere – You can find this familiar in the Middle Praenost close to the Northern Belfry.
- Constantina – This one is an easy score. It is found southeast of Brass Hollow Belfry.
- Ziti – Go northwest of Opal Hills Belfry in the Praenost region.
- Ledat – This one is located in Southern Belfry, south of Fields of the Fallen.
- Saglan – It is found in the Avoalet region east of Water Garden.
- Sana – You can find this familiar in Southern Belfry, southeast of Water Garden.
- Aramak – Next one is located southeast of untrodden Forest Belfry.
- Gregoire – You will need to visit the Golden Hills for this one. Precisely, head south of Golden Hills.
- Rinat – This one is found Northeast of Mouldering Refuge.
- Eldie – The next Tanta’s familiar location is north of Academy Hills in Southern Belfry.
- Zestion – You will spot the monument southwest of Inner Visoria Belfry.
- Kennah – You will visit Tanta’s Demesne refuge for this familiar location. You will find it southwest of Visoria Castle Town Refuge.
- Sigrun – This one is west of Tanta’s Demesne in Western Belfry.
- Leite – You’ll find the following familiar location south of Windy Hills Refuge.
- Kalpana – This one hides southwest of Cipalian Way.
- Chini – You have almost found all of tanta’s familiar locations. Head northwest of Junoon Castle Town Refuge.
- Bodhi – This is an easy catch, as you will find it east of Blossomwoods Refuge.
- Esha – Last but not least, it is located northwest of Wolfwoods Belfry.
How to Unlock and Befriend a Familiar in Forspoken?
Once you find a familiar location monument in Forspoken, approach it to unlock the particular familiar. You need to befriend it to add it to the Frey’s room or Pilgrim’s Refuge.
The moment you approach the monument, a cat-like creature will spawn. Now you need to befriend it. To do this, press L3 on PS5 or mouse right-click if you are on PC. Try to do this as slowly as possible. Otherwise, the feline will become too scared and run away.
If you see the exclamation mark, stop moving. You will need to wait until the sign disappears and continue your action only while crouching. Pet the cat and the process is successful.
