The recent blackhole in Fortnite seems to have made the game a topic of conversation on everyone’s lips. Some fans have even been fearing the worst, thinking their beloved battle royale has gone for good. Obviously, with a game as popular as Fortnite, this was never going to happen. Developers do like money after all.

Personally, I thought the black hole was a stroke of genius even if fans are annoyed they can’t play for a while. Thankfully, it seems like the wait won’t be too long as a trailer for Fortnite chapter 2 season 1 has been leaked online.

First reported by PC Gamer the trailer was released on the SkinTrakerCom Twitter before it was promptly taken down again.

Take a look at the trailer below and see what you think:

There’s a lot to take in, least of all what looks to be a new map. It makes sense as the other one is currently sitting in oblivion. Water seems to be heavily at play as the trailer showcases both swimming and boats. Who doesn’t love boats?

The two things that appeal to me the most in the trailer, however, are the pogo sticks and possible stealth elements. I absolutely love the idea of chasing people around on a pogo stick and I do like the idea of stealth. The trailer shows a player emerging from a dumpster to spring a surprise on another player and can only be a good thing.

The trailer is specifically designed to show off the battle pass and promises new ways to level up and over 100 rewards. Hopefully, we should see more, along with an official announcement soon.

What did you think of the trailer? Are you excited to see the return of Fortnite or are you one of those who had hoped its demise would be permanent? As always, let us know in the comments and let us know anything you’d like to see added.
