Fortnite is officially celebrating the final week of its Coachella collaboration, and there’s no better way to cap it off than launching fireworks. The Coachella event has offered players everything from new skins in the Item Shop to XP-filled quests. Now, there are even some free rewards available to anyone able to blast off fireworks on its Coachella Island Creative map. This guide will examine how to launch fireworks in the Fortnite Coachella quest and all of the possible rewards that come along with doing so.

Where to Launch Fireworks on Coachella Island in Fortnite

To partake in this quest, you must be on the limited-time Coachella Island map by entering the following Island Code in the Discovery tab: 5449-4207-1280. However, you do not have to explore the island to solve how to launch fireworks. Instead, the map will reward you with a special Flare Gun every 15 minutes, allowing you to launch fireworks while a light show is underway.

Once you have switched to the weapon, you can launch fireworks just by tapping your respective shoot button. Keep in mind; the Flare Gun is a temporary reward. It is only available while fireworks appear in the area—so be sure to fire as fast as you can. Additionally, the quest can only be completed after three shots are fired. So, if you missed your chance to pull this off, you will need to wait another 15 minutes to wield the gun again.

The Fortnite Coachella quest may be one of the easiest yet, though it is also incredibly generous. Those able to finish it will earn a grand total of 15,000 XP toward their Battle Pass level and possibly a few items. For instance, the event offers players the Sunset Spray after they finish one Coachella quest. Other exclusive goodies, such as the Look at the Sky Lobby Track and Hi-Fi Cacti Spray, can be unlocked by knocking out all five of its quests.

If you have now completed all of the Coachella quests, consider exploring the challenges featured in the ongoing The Kid Laroi’s Wild Dreams event. It includes a limited-time Creative map for players to earn 15,000 XP from each of its six quests. Best of all, Wild Dreams offers a selection of free lobby tracks, a loading screen, and a spray.

Fortnite is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
