While most Fortnite content creators and streamers work hard to make sure their personal and professional lives don’t clash, every now and then the real world destroys those best-laid plans. Just last week we found out about one particular creator pled guilty to assaulting his wife. Now a popular streamer has come forward with allegations of ongoing abuse against his stepfather.

The latest incident, according to the young man who goes by 77 Bxrry, not only involved physical abuse but also led to his high powered gaming PC to be damaged beyond repair. In all, the Fortnite player claims the cost to replace that PC would cost upwards of $4,000.

77 Bxrry took to Twitter and YouTube late last week in order to detail what had happened to his setup and why. The Twitter post is simply captioned “never talked publicly about my child abuse.” In that video, he details what exactly he claims happened that led to his gaming PC getting damaged.

More concerning is a YouTube video he posted on the same day with the caption “goodbye, I love you all.” The Fortnite community swung into action when it became clear the streamer was having suicidal thoughts in the wake of the latest episode of abuse.

The Twitter account 77 Clan has officially started a GoFundMe with the goal of raising $1,800. As of Monday morning, that effort was almost complete, as it had raised more than $1,500 in just a few days. 77 Bxrry was quick to return to Twitter, thanking the community for the support, while also warning there were some people who were being less than ethical in the wake of the outpouring of support.

It appears there have also been some GoFundMe accounts that were set up in the Fortnite streamer’s name but had made no contact with him. While the content creator is clearly still shaken by the latest incident, it also appears Bxrry is attempting to piece his life back together and get back to doing what he loves. On Saturday, he posted a quick update on Twitter saying “just woke up to a reason to live.”
