With the new Eminem-themed Fortnite Icon Series, players can now strut around the island in one of three unique skins: Slim Shady, Rap Boy, or Marshall Never More have been available since November 29 in the Fortnite item shop. You can even attend a Big Bang event on December 2 and get the exclusive Marshall Magma outfit. But the real surprise is the Fortnite Real Slim Shady Emote, which raps when you hit the emote button. As a longtime fan, suffice to say, I can’t get enough.

Real Slim Shady Emote: Adding a New Twist to the Fortnite Gameplay

When the emote is activated, players see their character performing and Slim Shady sing along to the song “The Real Slim Shady.” So yes, you can expect to see players completely in their own world, singing out in the open without a care in the world during a match. I might be one of them.

It’s worth noting this feature is only limited to the Slim Shady skin in Fortnite. If you play the emote with any other skin, you’ll only see your character dancing to the beat. Boring! Even the Rap Boy and Marshall Never More skins don’t have the same feature, making it exclusive to Slim Shady skin.

This is the first time Epic Games has introduced an outfit that sings the lyrics of the Emote. Of course, from over 600 Emotes, some are outstanding. However, Fortnite developers have never made a singing outfit as the Real Slim Shady, and it’s uncertain if they will make more. I sure hope so.

Generally, this type of icon series bundle stays in the shop only for around five to six days. As an example, Travis Scott’s bundle was in the item shop only for six days, and since then, it hasn’t appeared again. With the Big Bang event on the horizon and Eminem’s exceptional performance on December 2, 2023, I expect the bundle to remain in the shop until around December 4, 2023.
