Want to know what is ‘Waiting in Queue’ in Fortnite and how to fix it? Despite the popularity of Fortnite and the efforts of the developers to make the game perfect, sometimes there are errors that most players face. And the popularity of Fortnite is the main reason for these errors. Of all the problems that can arise, ‘Waiting in Queue’ is the most innocuous, and you can breathe easily now. But our guide is here to help you and tell you what waiting in Queue Mean in Fortnite and how to fix it.

What Does Waiting in Queue Mean in Fortnite?

While trying to launch Fortnite, you will sometimes see a ‘Waiting in Queue’ error, and this is normal. Do not panic, as these scary words only mean that the Fortnite servers are full. Or the number of players connected exceeds the computing capacity of the Fortnite servers.

Players are complaining about this problem on the release day of the new season. But on other days, you also can see this error. For example, if every week update has been released in the game or you are just unlucky to visit the game at the peak of player activity.

In any case, the ‘Waiting in Queue’ notification means that you are in a queue to enter the game. And as soon as it’s your turn, the game will launch you, and you can enjoy the gameplay.

How to Fix Waiting in Queue in Fortnite?

First of all, it is worth noting that there is no way you can fix the Waiting in Queue in Fortnite. As we said earlier, this error is nothing more than a notification – you have queued up. The best solution is to wait, and the game will automatically start after a while. Also, you can exit the game if you don’t want to wait and try launching the game later. But we strongly do not recommend restarting the game if you plan to play soon. The game restart will put you at the queue ends.

It is worth noting that long queues for entering the game are observed only during the new season release. On this day, you can wait in line for several hours. But on another day, you should wait a few minutes, after which you can enter the game.

Fortnite is available for PC on the Epic Store, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and Xbox Series X|S.
