Saitama, together with Genos, is coming over to Free Fire to help you unleash your inner hero. This Free Fire x One Punch Man crossover event will happen on January 10, 2021. Players are expected to see changes in the game as the developers included numerous One Punch Man content, costumes, and easter eggs in the game itself.
This Free Fire x One Punch Man collaboration is also called “The Hero Trial.” It will immerse Free Fire players into a universe that is filled with disaster and chaos. It aims to spark the player’s inner hero along with inspiration from Saitama and Genos. Starting January 10, 2021, players will have additional content, along with new skins and costumes.
By January 15, 2021, the game‘s interface will welcome a One Punch Man themed interface. It will also reflect the anime‘s iconic elements such as Saitama’s pajamas, “I’m Saitama” emote, villains 3-in-1 backpack, Gloo Wall One-Punch-Man. In addition to OPM easter eggs, it will also reskin popular in-game elements such as airdrops and airships.
During this day, Saitama will also hold special training sessions where players can earn exciting rewards. In each training, players are tasked to defeat monsters. These monsters will then drop a loot box in three tiers of rarity. The higher the rarity tier, the higher the rarity of the item.
Take note that not everybody is qualified to be Saitama’s disciple. Eager players need to earn it by collecting OPM tickets from in-game map drops and completing daily missions.
Aside from the OPM special item, there are also two weapon skins available. The Megapunch M1887 and M4A1. And by January 16 – 26, players will get more chances to earn cool rewards. This event is now “Path to Hero.” It is a web event where it will send players down the hero path filled with monsters and treasure boxes. These boxes will give tokens that players can exchange for rewards.
