Many people would likely agree that there is nothing worse than dental pain. This kind of pain becomes worse if you are unlucky and end up with a terrible dentist. This happened to a Florida mom who was left furious following the poor job her son’s dentist did. According to her, the dentist put a spacer in her son’s mouth, saying that it didn’t fit properly. They then instructed her to ensure that the boy wouldn’t put his tongue under the spacer. If it doesn’t fit, why would they put it in the first place? Unfortunately, while the boy was asleep, the spacer moved from its place. It ended up getting stuck to his lips, making it impossible for him to close his mouth. It doesn’t help that this left him in a lot of pain as well.
Instead of immediately seeing the Florida mom and her son, the dentist told them that they could see him on Wednesday. It was Monday. So he was supposed to stay like this for two days, which is simply insane. The mother then decided to take her son to the emergency room, but they refused to help, saying that they aren’t dentists. In the end, she shared a video of how she had to buy a wire cutter and remove the spacer herself. This was definitely a dangerous situation, but she had no other option. Due to her belief that what happened was unprofessional, she is planning to sue the dentist. What matters is that her son is feeling better now.

The Florida mom wasn’t the only one left furious after what happened to her son. Several people believed that she should sue the dentist as one woman wrote, “Oh no ma’am. SUE SUE SUE‼‼ Poor baby.” Another woman asked in shock, “What the hell?!” Some people also advised the mother to show up at the dentist’s office despite them telling her that they would see her son on Wednesday. “As an ortho tech take him in there now and demand they help him front desk and scheduling is always terrible! They cannot deny him! If they do, make sure to let them know you’ll give them that ER bill this is absolutely insane‼‼” one person wrote. Someone else said, “Show up at that office and be like you need to fix this.”
Not everyone was on the Florida mother’s side. There were people who believed that she was at fault as well. “Ummm why tf would u even leave knowing it didn’t fit properly anyway poor parenting on ur end cause I would of told them fix it to wear it fits or take it out cause ain’t no way they would of put something ing that dnt fit in my child mouth,” one person wrote. A woman also said, “As a mother you shouldn’t have let him leave the dentist if they said it didn’t fit . Let’s all take accountability, yes the dentist is in the wrong 100% but you shouldn’t have let him leave with it , if it wasn’t fitting correctly.” The mom might not have known that the spacer not fitting would be a problem. The blame should be directed at the dentist.
