People often say that nothing ever good happens after 10 p.m. No one demonstrates it better than this Houston, Texas driver, who went on a road rage at a parking lot in a mall. The place was full of people and vehicles, and this careless driver decided to smash their car against not one, but several vehicles on their way out. Someone recorded the whole thing that transpired late at night outside the Ranchero King Buffet on North Freeway, and it is something out of a movie.
TikTok user xquanboyx shared the clip that shows a driver going on a rampage at a parking lot in Houston. From what we can see, the driver tries to get out of the parking lot, and by doing so, goes berserk and starts crashing several vehicles. You can see the perpetrator, who’s driving a black pickup truck, moving forward and colliding with a car. However, things take a turn when the person backs up to another car and almost uses it as a ramp. Some of the people in the parking lot try to motion others to move away, but the careless commuter backs up once more, colliding with a white vehicle.
After a while, the irate driver manages to find a way out of the parking lot, and fortunately, doesn’t damage any other vehicles. However, the one filming captures the damage this person did, showing a totaled car. It is uncertain if the authorities arrived at the scene, but due to the magnitude of the situation and the many destroyed vehicles, we imagine they did. Or so we hope.
A lot of people discussed the event on the TikTok post, sharing their thoughts on the driver. Ironically, some even defended them.
“When you’re ready to go home and people wonโt get out of the way ๐๐ in a way I completely understand because in Houston people act like they canโt move. Their cars wonโt move. You begged them to move. You ask them to move. They wonโt.” – Ashley Millertyme via TikTok
“Everyone shocked but did everything but get out of the way ๐” – Matt via TikTok.
Shockingly, many believe that the driver’s reaction was somewhat justified. The video starts once the chaos has already unfolded, so we don’t have the full context. So, it is impossible to know who was in the wrong here. We could assume the driver was trying to get out, and everyone was blocking them. Yet, colliding with these many vehicles isn’t the best way to deal with things.
