Prepare to meet a unique challenger for one of Genshin Impact‘s latest characters from Liyue, Gaming. Kuro Games is ready to unveil its newest gacha game, Wuthering Waves, with a resonator showcase featuring Lingyang. These resonator showcases are like the character demo of HoYoverse, and in this one, Kuro Games introduces its own Liondancer boy. Unlike Gaming, Lingyang is a half-lion, a Liondancer boy with a captivating twist. Will Lingyang be a worthy opponent on the stage, or will his unique charm make him the standout dancer in the gacha games arena?
Wuthering Waves New Resonator Showcase Reveals Lingyang’s Skills
This trailer introduces a relatively young Lingyang who has trouble understanding how humans see the world. Yet, Liondance is so important to him as a journey of self-discovery and connecting with humanity that it becomes an essential part of his life. Through this resonator showcase, we see how Lingyang has dedicated himself to practicing this dance and making it part of his fighting style in Wuthering Waves. Agility is the essential feature of his kit, to do deadly backflips, breathtaking jumps, and deliver wildly powerful kicks. Even if this white lion is small, he has sharp claws and ferocious strength.
Kuro Games also recently revealed Lingyang’s drip marketing and, with it, its Japanese voice actor, who is none other than Natsuki Hanae. Natsuki has also been Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer, 9S from Nier: Automata Ver1.1a, Vanitas from The Case Study of Vanitas, and many more. We have yet to find out who will be the voice actor for the English version, but Wuthering Waves wants an excellent cast for its characters. We will indeed have more information and new trailers very soon, as the game will have its release date on May 22nd. So stay tuned for more updates.
