Garrison Brown is being remembered for his love of four-legged friends. One of the last things the Sister Wives personality did before his tragic death at age 25 was bring another cat into his home. Now, just weeks after his shocking death, the organization Garrison got that cat from is honoring him.
Garrison Adopted a Cat in Late February
Garrison Brown shared a life update just weeks before his death, showing the newest member of his family, a senior cat named Ms Buttons.
Newest edition to my home, Ms Buttons. She’s 9 years old and was on the line for euthanasia but my savior complex couldn’t suffice. #crazycatlady

The furry friend was one of several cats Garrison had shown affection for over the years, proving himself a true animal lover.
The Organization Is Honoring the Animal Loving 25-Year-Old After His Death
Garrison adopted Ms. Buttons from High Country Humane Animal Shelter in Arizona. After his death earlier this month, the organization is announcing a touching tribute to his memory.
Just days after Garrison’s death, the organization remembered him. They recognized the over $13,000 in donations made in his honor. In addition to sponsoring all their March cat adoptions, the organization decided to name their Cat Adoption Room after him.
Today, we honor Robert Garrison Brown for his love and compassion towards cats and all animals by naming our Cat Adoption Room after him and the cats he loved and adopted from us ♥️.
Garrison, your memory has touched so many lives already and will continue to do so here at High Country Humane for years to come. Thank you for sharing your passion for animals with us, we will remember you always.

Both Janelle Brown and Kody Brown were tagged in the announcement, which Janelle did share on her own Instagram.
The Family Continues to Mourn Garrison’s Loss
Janelle recently shared a photo of Garrison’s three cats as she remembered him as a loving “cat dad.”
Janelle told fans she was “brought to tears again” by their generous contributions to both High Country Humane Animal Shelter and the Arks Cat Sanctuary in Garrison’s memory. She noted, “The cats he adopted from both agencies were so important to him. He loved being a cat dad.”
In the photo, Ms. Buttons, Catthew, and Patches crowd around him, all looking at the camera. The simple image is just one of many images shared by friends and family that remind us of the hearts continuing to carry Garrison’s spirit after his tragic passing.
