The much-acclaimed game Gears 5 has some old favorites coming back to the series and some news faces as well. Dave Bautista is set to be a playable character for Gears 5. Gears 5 is bringing back Marcus, JD, Del, and Kait to name a few. But, Dave Bautista the WWE superstar and guardian himself will be playable in the game. The news comes thanks to Bautista’s Twitter page. The tweet showcases Bautista wearing Marcus Fenix’s armor as a cosplay. It is unclear whether Bautista will be a character in the story mode ofย Gears 5ย or as a playable character for multiplayer. Fans of the WWE and of the newย Gears 5 gameย have been wanting to see Batista play a character in the game for some time now. A dateless Gears movie is in development with news of Bautista’s cooperation with it. They were looking to bring on Bautista as Marcus Fenix but added parts of his Animal persona into the script and it worked perfectly. Bautista’s script for Gears 5 was completed by Rod Fergusson.
