General Hospital heroine Kristina Corinthos-Davis is dealing with another heartbreak. Last week, she suffered a tragic fall out of a hotel window after a confrontation with Ava Jerome. The accident caused her to lose the baby she was carrying for Molly Lansing-Davis and TJ Ashford. Although Kristina was only a surrogate, she’d become attached to the child. She’s grieving as much as Molly and TJ. While her family is offering comfort, most soap opera fans don’t feel sympathy for her.
Kristina’s Behavior Angered a Lot of General Hospital Viewers
Kristina was once one of the show’s beloved characters, but her behavior during the baby storyline became a turnoff. When Molly couldn’t have children, her sister offered to be her surrogate. Despite everyone’s concerns and warnings, Miss Corinthos-Davis went ahead with the procedure.
Although she agreed to give the baby to Molly and TJ, she had second thoughts. She refused to sign the surrogacy documents much to Molly’s disappointment. She further insulted her sister by claiming the baby would be better off with her and Blaze than Molly and TJ.
But Kristina was the one who’d put the baby at risk when she confronted Ava.
Although her father Sonny Corinthos told her not to worry about the subpoena, Kristina just had to rush over to Ava’s place. From there everything snowballed, leading to a huge tragedy.
While General Hospital is portraying Kristina as a victim, most viewers don’t see her as one. On a Soaps.com forum, fans expressed little sympathy for her.
Here I was, ready to feel bad for Kristina. But then she said it. MY BABY. Going on and on about how no one knew her child like she did. How she’ll only see her baby in her dreams. Had Kristina just said ‘I loved this baby,’ I wouldn’t have been bothered.

Never have been a fan of Kristina, but she had a chance to redeem herself today and she didn’t. She knows she should never have gone to Ava’s hotel room to confront her. She also knows what happened after she got there. Kristina had a chance to tell the truth.

Kristina should have been more cautious with who she goes to war with when she was 8 months pregnant. Even if she hadn’t gone out the window, she knew she was going to confront Ava and there was the possibility of it being complicating. Stressful at the very least.
Her Next Step Might Anger More Viewers
This storyline has angered a lot of General Hospital viewers, and things might get worse. A grief-stricken Kristina asked Sonny to make Ava pay for killing “her baby.” Ava is already on Sonny’s enemy list and this latest incident will have him seeking revenge.
Even though what happened was an accident, everyone is blaming Ava. Although she did grab Kristina during their confrontation, she didn’t push her. Yet, given that Ava hasn’t been truthful in the investigation, no one is going to believe her.
Kristina is leading the war on Ava and everyone is gunning for Miss Jerome. If anything happens to Ava, it’ll leave Avery Corinthos motherless and drama for the Corinthos and Davis families. Any sympathy fans had for Sonny and Alexis Davis’ daughter will go out the window.
