General Hospital characters Sonny Corinthos and Natalia Rogers-Ramirez have become chummy. With their daughters dating, it’s understandable that Sonny and Natalia get to know each other. Ms. Ramirez is a newcomer to Port Charles and has become smitten with the mob boss. With both of them single, chances are a romance could blossom.
Sonny and Natalia Aren’t Clicking With General Hospital Fans
Sonny is one of General Hospital‘s top bachelors. After his recent divorce from Nina Reeves, he’s back on the market. Many viewers assumed he’d pursue a relationship with Ava Jerome or reunite with his ex-wife Carly Spencer. However, it seems he has his sights set on a new lady.
Natalia and Sonny have bonded over their daughters, and they’re opening up about other aspects of their life. On the May 6 episode, the two ran into each other at the park, and Natalia invited Sonny to sit with her. The mob boss talked with Natalia about Carly and his bipolar disorder. Later, he invited Natalia back to his penthouse for a drink, and mentioned he was looking for a decorator.
Based on the recent scenes, it appears a Sonny and Natalia romance could be brewing. Since Maurice Benard and Eva LaRue are two major soap stars, it’s understandable why the producers want to pair their characters. However, not everyone is on board with the idea.

While fans dislike the idea of a Sonny and Natalia pairing, it could be beneficial. Natalia’s been criticized for being too controlling and judgemental of her daughter Blaze. Being with Sonny could soften her up and help repair her relationship with her daughter.
However, there’s also bound to be drama. Ava wasn’t happy when Sonny brought Natalia home. A jealous Ava could tamper with his medication and give Natalia a glimpse at the real Sonny.
