If there’s one thing for sure, it’s that HoYoverse has been busy trying to improve its player base’s gameplay experience. In the last Special Program, HoYoverse added a section called “Developers Discussion,” which showed changes to the interface and mechanics. One of the features players are most excited about is the implementation of a system to help with your character builds in Genshin Impact 4.5. Believe it or not, this might be the biggest game-changer we’ve had in this gacha installment.
Genshin Impact 4.5 QoL Changes Aim to Make Character Builds Easier for Players
Through its social networks, Genshin Impact shared the results of its Developers Discussion that took place on February 28, 2024. This segment was aimed entirely at the upcoming 4.5 version of the game. The biggest and most significant QoL change is the addition of a new button to the menu called Training Guide. This aims to help players with their character builds in Genshin Impact from version 4.5 onwards, and this is what it’ll show:
- Weapon
Here, the system will show which weapon is better or most used by each character, depending on all players. It will also indicate the weapon’s level and the materials required to ascend and level up. - Artifacts
This option shows the artifact sets that help each character and give them the most bonuses, even if two different sets are combined. It also indicates the level needed for each set piece, where to get it and its cost. - Ascension Level
This part will show the ideal level at which the character should be according to the world level, the materials needed to do so, and the cost of each. - Character Talents
Finally, this option shows the most suitable Talents to improve. For example, if a character does more damage with Normal Attacks, the Training Guide will recommend increasing Normal Attack talents.
Ultimately, the Training Guide only recommends character builds for Genshin Impact players. Still, we feel this will likely be the most welcome addition in version 4.5. If you’re confident enough, you can ignore all suggestions and workshop some exciting builds. But for new players, looking at what this guide has to say is vital.
