This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Chevreuse arrived at Genshin Impact on Phase 2 of Version 4.3, accompanied by her unique kit, which makes her the first with build and team comp intended for a firearm. Fortunately for many players, Chevreuse is an excellent 4-star character, so adding her to your teams might be easier. So, if you were lucky to get the Maison Gardiennage’s Special Security captain, there would be no rest for any of the criminals in Fontaine.

Best Build for Chevreuse in Genshin Impact

Chevreuse’s kit makes her a great Buffer or Healer; her build should ideally raise her HP stats or CRIT Rate to activate her passive. But if you want Chevreuse to play offensively, you must look for artifacts in Genshin Impact that improve Pyro damage.

Being a 4-star character, Chevreuse has other alternatives for her polearm, unlike the premium characters, whose best weapon is the featured weapon during their banners. Captain Chevreuse can use 5-star weapons, but she has excellent alternatives for her best weapon that are also Free-to-Play, like:

1. Black Tassel
2. Rightful Reward
3. Favonius Lance
4. Staff of Homa

This guard can cover the roles of Support and Sub-DPS and use two very different weapons, making her a flexible character. This is the reason why Chevreuse has a couple of options for her artifacts:

Support BuildHybrid Pyro Support-DPSOverloaded Pyro Sub-DPS
Noblesse Oblige
4-Pieces: Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.

Best Team Comp for Chevreuse

Not just any character can keep up with the fast pace of Chevreuse and her tactics as Sub-DPS or Support. She works much better in teams with Overload Elemental Reactions, so you will need some Electro characters. Here are some team comps that are better suited to Chevreuse’s kit:

  • Overload Team:
    • Main DPS: Cyno / Raiden Shogun / Yoimiya
    • Sub-DPS: Xiangling / Kujou Sara / Beidou
    • Support: Chevreuse
    • Healer: Bennett

Mainly, Chevreuse offers innovative gameplay and a kit that can be adapted to different types of players. If her Elemental Skill has a short cooldown and a good targeting system, it could be a viable option to avoid characters who use bow if your aim isn’t the best. All these Chevreuse’s build and team comp are great options to add to your teams in Genshin Impact to switch between ranged combat and beating up criminals with her polearm.
