Kinich alone is a strong warrior of the Scions of the Canopy, so it is not strange they call him the Huitztlan Saurian Hunter as their best member. He is so amazing that only this boy can be the sole companion of “Almighty Dragonlord” K’uhul Ajaw. Also, Kinich always has prepared his build to calm the ferocious Ajaw or to lead a team of warriors against the fearsome Abyss in Genshin Impact. This hunter, despite seeming cold or distant, actually cares about the welfare of the people and seeks the greater good. If you think bribing him will get you anything, think twice because you might find something worse than an angry Saurian.
The Best Artifacts for Kinich
If you are new in Natlan, you should be careful; you don’t want to mistake a Yumkasaur’s tail for a fruit. Fortunately, Kinich knows the dangers of Genshin Impact perfectly and always has the best tool and build for each situation:
Obsidian Codex | This set is one of the best for characters using Nightsoul’s Blessing, as it increases CRIT Rate and DMG when using Nightsoul’s Points. |
Unfinished Reverie | These artifacts benefit Kinich for the DMG and especially for the ATK bonus. It would be excellent if you used more Burning reactions with Kinich off-field. |
Deepwood Memories | This set’s DMG Boost and Dendro Res Shred bonus will help your Kinich, but it’s better for Sub-DPS or Support characters. |
The Best Weapons
This hunter prefers a balanced approach, using his whips to help him wield his Claymore and make his hits more forceful. Therefore, Kinich uses equally balanced weapons such as:
Fang Of The Mountain King (5-Star) | This is Kinich’s Signature weapon and is, therefore, more suitable, as this claymore skill is activated when using the Elemental Skill. Kinich must use his skill a lot in combat, and as a character designed for Burning or Burgeon reaction, he will earn more stacks with this weapon. |
Beacon Of The Reed Sea (5-Star) | This Claymore is ideal for characters whose damage scales with CRIT Rate or ATK, especially if you are not depending on a Shielder in your team. Also, Kinich can activate its effect more easily since, in combat, he must use a lot of his Elemental Skill. |
Serpent Spine (4-Star) | This is an accessible weapon that benefits Kinich’s kit by providing a DMG Bonus, but with this weapon, it is better to have a Shielder. |
The Best Team and Rotation
Even though Kinich can accomplish any task alone, it does not mean that he is a loner; he even prefers to team up with Dendro, Pyro, and Hydro characters from Genshin Impact, like:
Burning | Burgeon |
---|---|
Kinich – Main DPS Collei / Emilie – Sub-DPS Xiangling – Sub-DPS Bennett – Support/Shield | Kinich – Main DPS Furina / Xingqiu – Sub-DPS Xiangling / Dehya – Sub-DPS Bennett – Support/Shield |
1. You must apply Burning as fast as possible for Kinich, so start with Emilie’s Burst. 2. Then, change to Bennett and activate his Burst. 3. Use Xiangling’s Burst and put Guoba. 4. Ultimately, change to Kinich Burst and then his Elemental Skill to use his Nightsoul’s Blessing to deal more DMG. | 1. Start triggering Furina’s Salon Solitaire Skill and her Burst. 2. Next, Bennett’s Burst. 3. Follow with Dehya’s Elemental Skill. 4. Finally, use Kinich Burst and then his Elemental Skill. Ensure that you already have his Nightsoul’s Blessing active when using Kinich. |
Kinich is another incredible Dendro DPS from Genshin Impact, but one of his best advantages is that many of his best teams include his flexible build and 4-star characters. Plus, Natlan natives have an advantage in exploring Teyvat with their Elemental Skill, which will help you to get all the chests in record time for many more Primogems.
