A new event arrived at Genshin Impact, but unlike all the previous ones, Feline Fortress Furrdyssey is the first one so pawdorable. Earlier in the game, Paimon and the Travelers have dealt with cute creatures, but mainly with the cats of Cat’s Tail. Even in one mission, they must learn a few words of the cat language to find a senior cat in Port Ormos, Sumeru. Instead of finding, tracking, and retrieving kitties, this time, the players can pamper them as these cute kitties deserve. Who could resist petting, playing, and hearing them purr?
[Updated on April 13 – Added info for Stage 4 and 5]
How To Complete Feline Fortress Furrdyssey Event in Genshin Impact
Calm down; you can’t just go to see the kittens. First, you need to unlock the event. Open the Feline Fortress Furrdyssey Event menu and select Go to Quest to make it appear on the Genshin Impact map. Then go to Cat’s Tail, and you will find Rosaria talking to Valerie, a new NPC. Valerie created a shelter for stray cats called the Furball Fortress but has had difficulty gaining the kitties’ trust. Then, Valerie will ask you to accompany her to the shelter very close to Angel’s Share, where you will meet the first kitten, Snowball. This is where Paimon and the Travelers come into action.
Stage 1 – Snowball
Each part of this event has two phases. In the first one, you need to decorate the space of each cat according to their preferences. Comfiness, Durability, and Aesthetics are the criteria you have to reach precisely according to the furniture you place; each one has a specific attribute. For Snowball, the furniture it likes the most are:
- Comforting Music Box – Durability
- Teatime Snack Tray – Durability
- Lunch Break Armchair – Comfiness
- Overflowing Shelf – Aesthetics
After you create that specific space, you can play with the cat; this phase is to win its affection. There are three levels: Trusted, Cherished, and Inseparable. The level depends on how much you pet the cat and that you do it in the sections each kitty prefers. Try to avoid petting the same spot because you will not get any points. There are eight spots; Snowball prefers both paws, upper body, lower body, and face.
Stage 2 – Bunny
On the second day, The Traveler and Paimon meet Bunny, a gray kitten with darker stripes and a white chest. Bunny’s most distinctive feature is its graceful walk, which should be reflected in its feline space. This is Bunny’s furniture of choice:
- Gilded Cradle – Aesthetics
- Calming Blue – Aesthetics
- Philosophy of Sitting – Durability
- Bedtime Story – Durability
With a space as luxurious and elegant as Bunny, this cat will decide to approach you to play after you convince it with a juicy piece of fish or chicken. However, like other kittens, Bunny won’t come to you immediately, but you can win its trust by cuddling it. Bunny loves to be petted almost everywhere, but don’t touch its fluffy paws or tail.
Stage 3 – Dustball
Dustball arrives at the event’s halfway point, a gray emerald-eyed kitten with graceful movements reminiscent of the noble and aristocratic nobles. Dustball values its comfort above all else, and this is the furniture that meets its expectations:
- Precise and Punctual – Comfiness
- Outspoken and Proud – Aesthetics
- Leisure Reading Room – Comfiness
- Resplendent Emerald – Comfiness
- Rose’s Mangrove House – Comfiness
With Dustball’s oasis of relaxation ready, this kitty is more up for play and cuddling. Be careful. Even if it looks inoffensive, I will avoid its back and ears, at least if you value your good hand for wielding your sword.
Stage 4 – Dopey
Dopey is a more balanced cat, and it looks for a space in harmony like its bicolor coat, but a little more comfort is not bad for this kitty. If you want to get the ideal design, these are the furniture you need to place:
- Rich Valberry – Comfiness
- Teatime Refreshments – Durability
- Pleasing Standing Lamp – Comfiness
- Cornucopia of Flavor – Aesthetics
- Tremedous Treasure Trove – Aesthetics
This black and white kitty loves to be petted, but be careful not to go near its paws or cute face. If you do, things could take a turn for the worse, and Dopey might not trust you.
Stage 5 – Sir Pouncelot
After finishing Dopey’s room, activate the event’s next stage because sometimes it doesn’t trigger automatically. You must first complete the mission Bulle Fruit-Hued Interloper! and wait for the next day from 8 am – 12 pm. Inside Fortress Furrdyssey, there will be chaos, and all because of a new oversized orange cat that you must help to relax by creating its ideal space:
- Assembled Whispers – Durability
- Carefree Alpine Forest Blue – Comfiness
- Standing Steady and Firm – Durability
- Flowing Water Landscape – Aesthetics
- Gently Lit Cabinet – Comfiness
Sir Pouncelot will be more confident thanks to Rosaria’s help, but the little one is still terrified. Help it with pets, but don’t go near its chest, face, or tail to not scare this feline anymore.
The Feline Fortress Furrdyssey Event allows you to live with five different kittens, but like other Genshin Impact events, you can earn up to 80 Primogems in each stage. But in addition to getting materials, there is a special edition kitten for you to place in your Serenitea Pot.
