Genshin Impact‘s 3.0 update brought to fans Sumeru’s vast and expansive world. This location, much like all else, is full of different domains and areas that need to be unlocked. One such area is the Coordinates of Sun and Rain domain, and in this guide, we will go over the exact steps necessary to unlock this location in Genshin Impact.

The Coordinates of Sun and Rain is located in Apam woods, and players must complete a quest to reach the area. Following the quest, a series of steps must be taken to remove the barrier surrounding this domain so that entry becomes possible.

Guide To Unlocking The Coordinates Of Sun And Rain

These steps are required to unlock the Coordinates of Sun and Rain in Genshin Impact.

Complete The Varuna Gatha Quest

To access the domain area, players must complete the Varuna Gatha quest. This quest is part of the Aranyaka Gadget world quests. Completing this quest gives players access to a cave in Apam woods, close to the Coordinates of Sun and Rain’s location. Heading southeast from this cave will take you to the domain, guarded by a barrier.

Light The Dendro Totem

Once at the location of the Coordinate of Sun and Rain, players should light the Dendro Totem using Dendro attacks (any Dendro character can be used for this). Once lit, players should follow the trail the totem leaves behind. Following the trail will take players to a Dendroganum without its core.

Use Your Vintage Lyre To Restore The Dendroganum

Players should use their ‘Vintage Lyre’ here to play the ‘Rhythm of the Sprout’ (this can be obtained from the ‘Rhythm that Nurtures Sprouts’ quest. This rhythm will restore the Dendroganum to its healthy state.

Attack The Floating Dendro Ring

Players will now be able to see a floating Dendro Ring above the Dendro Totem. You should attack it with a ranged attack while having the healthy Dendroganum equipped. This will remove the barrier and unlock the Coordinates of the Sun and Rain domain in Genshin Impact.
