Genshin Impact Electro Character Leaks Fontaine
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

At this point, there isn’t a single week where we don’t get some leaks about Genshin Impact. It has become some sort of a tradition, and we don’t say that as a complaint. While HoYoverse, or more specifically, Cognosphere, is looking to stop this, leaks just keep coming. Speaking of which, some recent leaks show an upcoming Electro character for Genshin Impact. This leak seems quite reliable as the person behind it was the one responsible for the huge Fontaine character showcase. With that in mind, we can assume that the design of this character is final and could arrive in the game soon.

Genshin Impact’s recent leaks show an upcoming Electro character

While we have no idea when the character will release, many speculate that it is planned for the next big update. By this, we mean Fontaine. As we know, HoYoverse tends to have a full year of updates that focus on the new nation and add a few things to existing ones. Usually, every new version launches after the x.8 or x.9 update. With Sumeru reaching 3.5, we think that Fontaine isn’t too far away. And now, with these character leaks of Genshin Impact, we can expect the new Electro character to get here soon.

Still, there is more coming to the actual nations before a new one gets here. There are rumors of the first two nations getting new expansions, so it might be a while before we see the Hydro country. In any case, there’s still a lot more to do while we wait. 3.5 arrives on March 1st and will feature Dehya and Mika as the new characters. If you want to pull for them, 3.5 will give players a little bit more than 10,000 primogems. But if now, you can always save for this upcoming Electro character that the latest Genshin Impact leaks show.
