The captain of the Maison Gardiennage’s Special Security and Surveillance Patrol, Chevreuse, has just made her triumphant entrance to Genshin Impact with a new demo. This guardian assures that she will keep her eye open to catch the rascals who disturb the peace of Fontaine. The captain will use everything she can to bring criminals to trial in Opera Epiclese and the Fortress of Meropide. No thief or liar can escape her, but Chevreuse will not hesitate to use force or call reinforcements if they resist arrest.
Genshin Impact Chevreuse’s Character Demo Shows How Her Kit Works in Combat
HoYoverse tries to make his characters unique from each other. One way is to give him variants for his weapons, like Kaveh, a claymore user, but in reality, Mehrak inflicts all the damage. In this demo, you can see that for Chevreuse, Genshin Impact also tried to create a more versatile kit by giving her a polearm and a musket for her elemental skill. The captain can fight at a shorter distance and attack enemies farther away with her musket. Chevreuse can aim at enemies and fire a large bullet, which splits into smaller ones. These small bullets function as Klee’s elemental skill. Also, the guardian’s attack generates pyro damage in a medium area from where the first projectile falls.
Chevreuse debuted in the Roses and Muskets event of Genshin Impact version 4.3, but this demo is to celebrate her upcoming arrival in phase 2. The captain will arrive as a 4-star character, along with Kujou Sara and Bennett, in Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya’s banners. Players know too little about this police officer, but they will see more of what she can do when Chevreuse becomes a new playable character in Genshin Impact. The next phase of patch 4.3 will start on January 8, 2024.
