A Georgia man’s parking dispute went viral after a woman confronted him over a spot she said she wanted because she was traveling with her 84-year-old mother. The creator wasn’t interested in her reasoning, and neither were most viewers. While commenters criticized the woman’s behavior, some felt the creator kept the confrontation going longer than necessary.
The video, posted to TikTok by @lekeemmincey, begins after the disagreement is already underway, so it does not show what initially happened with the parking space. However, the on-screen text provides some context, reading, “Karen spazzing on me cuz she think I took her spot.”
Le’Keem Mincey then asks the woman to repeat what she had previously told him. “That you took my parking spot?” she responds. Mincey questions whether the entire confrontation is over a parking space, and the woman confirms it is. He then tells her to leave him alone and continue into the store.
The woman then explains why she wanted the spot. “Because my 84-year-old mother is right here,” she says. Mincey remains unmoved and tells her to stop bothering him. As she begins walking away, the two exchange insults, with Mincey telling her to “check your attitude.” After she calls him an “[expletive],” his frustration grows. “You think this your country, dog?” Mincey asks before the video ends.
The confrontation also fits Mincey’s online brand. He operates a clothing business called I Wish a Karen Would LLC.
Viewers Split Over Georgia Parking Dispute
The mention of the woman’s 84-year-old mother didn’t earn her much sympathy in the comments. Instead, some questioned why her mother’s age should give her claim to the parking spot. “Has to throw in ’84 year old mother’ as if that’s your problem,” one viewer wrote.
Others were more direct about the disagreement itself. “You don’t own a parking spot ma’am,” another commented. Some commenters also embraced Mincey’s “Karen” label, interpreting the woman’s insistence on the spot as entitlement. “Put Karen in her place,” one person wrote.
However, not everyone approved of Mincey’s response. One viewer felt his reaction became unnecessary as the woman walked away. “She is a old lady with a older lady and your getting louder as she walks away,” they wrote. Another thought Mincey spent too much time engaging with her, simply writing, “Y’all talk too much.”
The woman believed having her 84-year-old mother with her gave her good reason to want the space. Mincey made it equally clear that didn’t make the spot hers. Most viewers sided with him, although some thought the parking dispute should have ended long before the camera stopped rolling.
