Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is the latest supernatural-themed video game hitting the market in time for Halloween. But there are more fun thrills than terrors when you face down ghostly apparitions with your friends. Thankfully, you can do so in this game with the multiplayer aspect. So, we’ll guide you through how to invite your friends so you can all enjoy the multiplayer feature in Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed together.

How to Invite Friends for Multiplayer in Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed

Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed Friends Multiplayer Invite

Do you know what’s better than catching ghosts? Catching ghosts that happen to be your friends. In Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, multiplayer allows you to play with friends. It will be in a group of five, with four of you being the Ghostbusters and the fifth member being the ghost.

But first, you have to invite them.

We’ve laid out step-by-step instructions below to help you invite friends for multiplayer in Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed:

  1. Add your friends to your Friends list on PSN, Xbox, or Epic.
  2. Launch the game and go to the Firehouse tab via the main screen.
  3. Pause the game, select the Friends tab or head to the computer in the lobby.
  4. You can select either Epic Online Services or Other Platforms to invite friends.

For the last step, using “Other Platforms” allows you to invite friends that are playing on a platform different than what you’re playing on. This can make Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed even more thrilling in multiplayer since there are no limitations with friends.

One thing to note is that you can’t do this if you or your friends are playing the tutorial. The tutorial must be done solo.

If you haven’t done it yet, we’ll show you how to add friends to your list, so you’re ready for the game.

You’ll see a friends icon on Epic Games Launcher at the top right. From here, you can select the middle tab that has a plus icon to add friends. Simply type your friend’s name in the text box.

Meanwhile, on either PSN or Xbox, just send a friend an invite to add them to a list for Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed multiplayer. You must have Xbox Live or PS Plus to play online.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is available on PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
