Today, Sony Pictures Virtual Reality and nDreams announced their newest VR game for the Meta Quest 2, Ghostbusters VR, which is the working title for the VR game. They are known for Phantom: Covert Ops, Fracked, and Far Cry VR: Drive Into Insanity. Now nDreams is teaming up with Sony Pictures Virtual Reality to bring players a new Ghostbusters experience in VR.
Strap on the Proton Pack for Some Ghostbusting in VR
Players will get to strap on the legendary proton pack and step into the world of Ghostbusters with the Quest 2. Stationed in your Ghostbusters HQ in a new city, San Francisco, players are embroiled in a supernatural mystery with the latest chapter of the Ghostbusters universe.
Tracking, blasting, and trapping ghosts by wielding iconic equipment, you’ll go it alone on this grand new mystery or team up with up to three friends in co-op. Hoping to offer a great VR game, Chirs Jurney, Metaverse Director of publishing, had this to say:
“This game will give the ultimate wish-fulfillment of catching ghosts in true Ghostbuster fashion, and we’re excited to team up with Sony Pictures Virtual Reality to bring this universe to life on Quest 2.”
