We all know that before the big Microsoft/Bethesda deal, the studio had some deals with PlayStation. Some of their latest games had a one-year exclusivity deal with Sony’s console. However, new wall art in Bethesda‘s offices in London hints that the game is already coming. However, those waiting for a Ghostwire: Tokyo Xbox release soon, might have to wait. After all, the one-year deal hasn’t been fulfilled yet. Ghostwire: Tokyo was released in March of this year, so Xbox users might have to wait a bit more before playing this game.

Bethesda could be preparing for the Ghostwire: Tokyo Xbox release in the future

Bethesda has been behind some amazing titles and has worked with some great companies to accomplish that. From the Fallout series that just turned 25 years to Dishonored. The latter was a work from Arkane and Bethesda Softworks. A game that is quite similar to Deathloop, yet another title that was behind the exclusivity deal with Sony. But, now, a Ghostwire: Tokyo Xbox release might be a lot closer than we thought. We still don’t think that the deal will change but months fly by and we might see the game drop on Game Pass as soon as March arrives.

Microsoft Loses Money With Each Xbox Sale

It is safe to say that with the exclusivity deal ending and Microsoft officially acquiring Bethesda, things could change. Some games will stay on both platforms, like Call of Duty which just broke a sales record on PlayStation. However, we all know that Starfield will be console exclusive and we’re still not sure what the Elder Scrolls and Fallout future will look like. However, given how many sales PlayStation brings for the companies, it is safe to assume that they’ll consider launching titles for both platforms. So, while we wait for a Ghostwire: Tokyo Xbox release, all we can do is keep playing everything Game Pass has to offer. Yet, if you’re the owner of a PlayStation, God of War Ragnarok releases in one week.
