On Rodriguez’s birthday in July 2022, the actress and Locicero, who got married in 2019, announced they were expecting their first child. The Golden Globe winner shared that her postpartum fitness class included a walking format on the treadmill. She also does some low-impact workouts. But that’s not all; Rodriguez also has a dedicated yoga practice which she does in her gym.
Rodriguez teamed up with Orangetheory for their Mother’s Other Day Movement, which offers one free class to existing and new gym members. Rodriguez shared that what she loved most about the fitness movement was how it encouraged moms to practice self-care. The Scoob! actress also shared that self-care was critical to a mother’s mental, physical, and emotional well-being. She concluded that being well-recharged will help mothers be the best moms for their kids.
