As of late, it’s no surprise that Glen Powell has been climbing his way up the ladder of fame and making quite the name for himself. After his latest appearance in “Twisters,” the 35-year-old has been drawing loads of attention, and not just for his impressive roles. However, he isn’t just gaining the attention of fans, but also impressed Hollywood producers.

After an unnamed Hollywood producer threw shade on Ryan Gosling on Monday, Glen Powell came to his rescue like a knight in shining armor, or well, like a Glen. According to the producer, Glen is pulling more attention “in the sense that audience now go to movies to see him.” Unfortunately, that’s not all.

Powell Leaps to Gosling’s Defense in Viral X Post

Glen Powell has been making quite the name for himself after appearing in “Anyone But You” and “Twisters,” but let’s face it: he looks pretty dang good too. In a viral X post by @OneTakeNews on Monday, it was reported that an unnamed Hollywood producer compared Powell to Gosling.

The unnamed Hollywood producer said, “Unlike an actor like Ryan Gosling whose appeal is mostly limited to female audiences, Glen appeals to both females and males.” This is likely because of the variety of roles that Glen has played in various genres, ranging from action to romantic comedies, whereas Gosling plays roles in movies that are most likely to be watched by females. Now, while that might have a bit of truth to it, Glen took to X to defend Ryan’s honor.

Powell reposted @OneTakeNews’ original post and, while making a funny connection to Ryan’s role in “Barbie,” said, “Gosling is a legend. I’m just Glen.” As expected, Glen’s fans started hopping in the comments to make sure he knew he was “Glenenough.”

One X user hopped in and said “humble considerate King, this is why you’ll always be famous.” Another spoke up and said both Glen and Ryan are great, “I have a man crush on both Glen and Ryan so I’m not sure who wrote this article but they’re wrong. We love both of them. And they should be in a buddy cop movie together.”
