This week’s Gotham will focus on the continuation of Penguin’s (Robin Lord Taylor) treatment at Arkham Asylum with Strange (B.D. Wong) and Bruce Wayne’s (David Mazouz) inevitable confrontation with Matches Malone (Guest star Michael Bowen.) Another guest star appearing in this week’s Gotham is the Orange is the New Black star Lori Petty. She will be playing the punk singer Jeri, though to what end she will serve the full plot is unknown. It is not clear if this is a one-time role or a possible reoccurring character, but judging from her photos she is clearly playing homage to The Joker, more specifically Jerome. Finally, it looks like Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) is getting more development in terms of what has happened to his former girlfriend Kristin Kringle (Chelsea Spack.) This was really needed as it seemed like these past two episodes that Nygma was simply just an after-thought for the plot. However, it will be interesting to see how much longer it takes before Nygma finally goes full on Riddler, but that still could be some time off.
