Grand Guilds is out now, thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign. Together with publisher Keybol Games, Drix Studios was able to release the game to multiple platforms. It is an RPG, but one that seems to have a little more to it than your standard title. On Steam, the game is normally $19.99. It will be available at a 10% discount until April 2nd. On the Nintendo eShop, it is available for $19.99 and on the Utomik platform for $9.99.

Grand Guilds

Grand Guilds takes place in the fictional country of Irin, as the protagonist Eliza and her allies uncover secrets plaguing the land. Through the use of turn-based battle and card-combat, players can specialize in battle styles to their favored characters. As the missions are ‘procedural,’ no two executions of the same mission will be the same. Attacks and abilities vary from explosive area-of-effect to deadly accurate physical strikes. Each move or ability is signified by a shout from the character who executes it.

Battles in Grand Guilds will take place on a grid-style battlefield, so players will have to be mindful of where they move to. Plan ahead by creating specialized card decks for each team member. As terrain varies, it could spell the difference between victory and defeat. Take advantage of the high ground to deliver critical strikes and surprise attacks. Some abilities can strike multiple enemies at once. In addition to character-specific skills, gamers will also unlock specialized abilities specific to a guild.

A Special Thanks from Grand Guilds

Grand Guilds

Grand Guilds developers are showing their thanks in the form of free DLC. Players can expect to see a plan two months after launch. With continued support, developers can release additional bonus content. Make sure to stay on top of the news by visiting the game’s official site.
