Its been a little while since we last saw a new game added to Xbox Game Pass, but today that changes. Microsoft has officially announced that Grand Theft Auto V has joined the Xbox Game Pass lineup. This will be just over six years since the official launch of GTA V, released back in September of 2013. The news was unveiled through a tweet created by the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account. If there was ever a game that we at The Nerd Stash recommend grabbing, it’s this one.

Grand Theft Auto V is an action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. In the game, you play as three different characters each on their own journeys, which diverge out and collide as the story progresses. Defeat rival gangs, complete big scores, and become three great legends of Los Santos. The story isn’t the only offering, though, as the online mode of GTA V has much more content. You can create your character and make millions as you afford new properties and toys to play with. There’s a lot you can do when it comes to GTA V and its online mode and is worth picking up.

What is Xbox Game Pass?

GTA V isn’t the only game part of the Xbox Game Pass. With an active subscription, you can get access to a massive library of great titles. Are you a strategy fan? Age of Wonders: Planetfall might be for you. Looking for something to play with friends? Overcooked 2 will satisfy your cravings. Looking for a casual singleplayer experience? Then maybe you’ll want to cause mayhem in Untitled Goose Game. There’s something for everyone in Xbox Game Pass. If you’re interested in subscribing or want to take a look at Game Pass for PC, you can find that information here.

Make sure to jump on your Xbox and try out GTA V if you haven’t already. Otherwise, stay tuned here at The Nerd Stash for more news, reviews, and more about your favorite entertainment!
