If you’ve been enjoying the new Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game by Square Enix, perhaps you want to experience it again and make new choices in new game plus? Here is all the information you need for the Guardians new game plus mode, including what does and does not carry over.
All You Need to Know About New Game Plus Mode
After beating Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game, there are many things you may want to complete in a replay, including experiencing different choices and consequences in various chapters, gaining all of the achievements, or just seeing your favorite skins in earlier parts of the game. The GotG new game plus allows you to do all of this, carrying over all your outfits, perks, and abilities you have unlocked.
After finishing Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy’s story, you’ll be sent back to the game’s main menu. You’ll now have the option to start a new game plus playthrough. If you want to start NG+, first choose a completed game save file. When you choose a completed save file, you will have to overwrite this save to start a new game plus save. While you won’t be able to go back to your previous save file, you can always reload any chapter of the game by choosing the Chapters option from the main menu.
When you start a new game plus, you’ll play the game from the beginning. Your unlocked outfits, abilities, and perks for all your guardians will carry over into this new save.
