Guerrilla Games has announced its plans for upcoming Horizon titles, saying they have about “16 plans” for the series, including a multiplayer co-op game. This isn’t big news as we knew about the multiplayer title before, yet it is fantastic to see they have even more ideas for this universe the studio has created. Even when Zero Dawn and Forbidden West launched during times when other big games like Breath of the Wild and Elden Ring launched, the franchise stood strong. With a recent PSVR2 spin-off and TV show on its way, we’re happy to see this universe is getting bigger every day and doesn’t have plans to stop.

According to Guerrilla Games, the developer has 16 plans for new Horizon games. This will prove a new challenge for the studio as they haven’t done a co-op game for this universe, yet many think the studio will be able to get it done. Besides that, we already know the studio partnered with NCSOFT to make an MMO set in the Horizon universe. This might not be great news for some as NCSOFT has had some hits and misses, but we hope Guerrilla Games can succeed in tandem with NCSOFT.

The success of recent Horizon titles shows that Guerrilla Games can continue working on this universe which is loved by many. The recent DLC was a fantastic way to close Aloy’s second story and was a teaser for the next title. We all know Aloy’s journey is far from over, and we can’t wait to see where she’ll go next. It might be a while until we see it, but in the meantime, all we can do is wait for new games from this studio. Hopefully, we’ll see more of this world in the coming months.
