Gundam Evolution Game: What We Know About the Game So Far
The game is a free-to-play team-based first-person shooter. It will also feature 6v6 combat with “EVO Coin” currency available for “real world purchase.” The Gundam Evolution game will also feature 12 playable units. Aside from EVO Coin, players can earn “Capital Points” as they play, which can be used to unlock mobile suits and other cosmetic items. The game will feature three modes: Point Capture, Domination, and Destruction.
Point Capture involves players attacking and capturing points from the defending team. Domination, however, involves both teams attempting to capture three points spread across the map. Lastly, Destruction calls one team to the task of stopping a weapon of mass destruction, while the opposing team has the task of activating it. In addition to the maps included with the beta, four new maps are also included in the game; Wilderness Mining Field, Harbor City, Guiana Highlands, and Security Terminal City. More locations are slated to be released with the future release of the second season.
More recently, the Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy game launched digitally for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The first volume of the game currently contains episodes 1-5. The second and third volumes launched on November 19th and December 3rd.
The Gundam Evolution game will launch on Steam on September 21st, and the console release is scheduled for November 30th in North America.
