Aly Raisman is all about the lemons this summer. Earlier this month, the Olympic gymnast made birthday headlines for hitting up a lemon orchard for a citrus-themed day, and it looks like she’s brought fans more.
On June 6, Aly updated her Instagram in a gorgeous, lemon-yellow dress, going cute, girly, and couture-style as she injected lemon energy into an emoji-filled caption. Showing off the beautifully stitched, figure-hugging number, Aly channeled summer pastels for a day out with a close friend, sharing drinks photos and reminding her 2 million+ fans that she’s a social butterfly. Fans have left the former “Fierce Five” member over 16,000 likes.
Aly Raisman Goes Full “Lemon” On Instagram
All smiles with friend Abby O’Brien, Aly opened her gallery seated at an outdoor table, although only Abby had a cocktail in front of her.
Highlighting her gymnast figure, the Massachusetts native looked gorgeous in her rose-embellished, structured dress, with the pale yellow shade perfectly matching her skin tone. Rocking a dress with defined piping, a bustier-like top, and asymmetric floral motifs, Aly even offered a close-up in her third slide, showing off the dress’s fine fabrics and form-fitting design.
In a caption, Aly used a yellow lemon and yellow heart emoji while tagging pal Abby’s IG handle.
Fans Think She Designed It
The comments section is now overflowing with love. “Did you design that dress? It absolutely fits your personality. Always bubbly and smiling. Happy Belated birthday gorgeous,” one user replied. “Gorgeous dress,” another said.
Aly may not have designed this dress, but she’s no newb when it comes to designing clothes. The Aerie ambassador has, over the years, released multiple collabs with the trendy clothing brand, and she’s also fronted the brand’s #AerieReal campaign.
Braving untouched and unairbrushed Instagram photos as she modeled Aerie pieces in 2019, Aly touched on the importance of portraying reality on social media. “There is so much pressure on girls and women to look a certain way, to say the right thing, to have the perfect Instagram photo,” she told WWD.
Continuing, Aly shared: “People don’t understand how much pressure — and how much time — women spend in front of the mirror, trying to decide what to wear to help the men in their office respect them.”
Also involved in promoting Aerie have been stars including singer Kelsea Ballerini and actress Alexandra Daddario. Aly, meanwhile, also boasts collabs with Sylvia P and has been the face of Silk Milk and Amazon in the past.
