Aly Raisman is soaking up the French atmosphere as she enjoys her travels for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Olympic gymnast, who retired from professional gymnastics in 2016, has remained a relevant face, proof of which is her high-profile presence at the current Olympics.
Having joined the list of celebrities congratulating gymnast Simone Biles on her recent wins, Aly updated her Instagram this weekend with leggy shots, posing in a stylish short shorts look while enjoying a typically Parisian cafe scene. She even threw in a mention of France’s famous croissant pastries in her caption.
Aly Raisman Celebrates Paris Olympics With Croissants
Opting out of showing the buttery, flaky pastry, Aly still channeled ooh-la-la vibes as she enjoyed a quiet terrace spot shouting out traditional French cafe culture.
Posing from a small table and chairs set outside a cafe, the Massachusetts-born star crossed her toned legs as she modeled a teeny pair of denim shorts in dark blue. Adding in a chic white blouse and shouting out both France and the USA via her red, white, and blue heels, Aly got leggy in her figure-flaunting look, but she stayed classy.
Smiling for the camera as she relaxed outside the cafe, the Gold Medal winner wrote: “Chocolate croissant on repeat.” The post quickly caught a like from fellow Olympic gymnast, McKayla Maroney.
Showing Off Gymnast Skills After Retirement
In January 2022, Aly posted to Instagram with an impressive leg stretch as she reminded fans that her training days aren’t over.
Planting her hands on a yoga mat and hiking one leg up, the former athlete kept her hips square, flaunting her firm glutes and toned legs in a stylish gym wear look. Rocking tight leggings and spandex crop top, the brunette showed off her agility and flexibility, with an amusing caption reading “Still got it.”
Of her pandemic workouts, Aly revealed:
“I’ll do a little bit of a workout in the morning, and then even do a little bit more in the afternoon. I break it up throughout the day because that’s what’s working for me right now. What I love about Pilates is that you can kind of maneuver your legs a little bit to the right or left, or do one leg at a time, and it creates such a different burn.”
Since retiring, Aly has kept up her sporty side via multiple collabs with clothing retailer Aerie. She also coaches young gymnasts, alongside advocating for mental health.
The star is a huge fan of mindfulness and meditation, and anyone following her IG will know that she adores gardening and caring for her plants.
