McKayla Maroney sent her 1 million+ Instagram fans a cute smile as she rocked a gorgeous checkered minidress for a rainbow-themed post toward the start of the global pandemic. Welcoming Spring in her March 2022 share, the Olympic gymnast stunned her fans with her gorgeous look, sending out summer vibes and showing off her slim figure.
Posing for an indoor selfie before a separate photo in the same look saw her saying the “lighting” is “best in the middle of the street,” McKayla gained over 37,000 fan likes, and her followers have since flooded the comments section with compliments. McKayla retired from professional gymnastics in 2016, but she remains a popular face on social media.
McKayla Maroney Goes Full Rainbow on Instagram
Posing amid indoor bric-a-brac and likely from her California home, McKayla snapped a selfie while seated as she modeled a leggy sundress in yellow and white check.
Going stringy with her straps as she highlighted her toned arms and shoulders, the Gold Medal winner flashed her muscly legs as she sent out doll vibes, cocking her head to the side and completing her look with chic, gold hoop earrings.
Proving she’s a glam queen as she sported flawless foundation, blush, and a statement red lip, McKayla wore her luscious dark locks down, showing off slight side bangs and wearing red-rimmed shades atop her head. In an emoji-only caption, the Glowy by McKayla wellness founder dropped a sunshine and rainbow for her fans.
Takes It Out Onto the Street
Modeling her thigh-skimming sundress outdoors in a snap that followed the indoor one, McKayla smiled from a sunny suburban street. In a caption, the star explained why she’d chosen the spot, writing: “Best lightings [sic] in the middle of the street. I don’t make the rules.”
McKayla also edited her caption, drawing the eye to the necklace she’s worn in many old photos and has since gotten rid of. “I don’t wear this necklace anymore. I threw it out, along with a lot of other new-age things. At the time I thought it was ‘angelic’ and of God, and ‘spiritual protection’ but I was wrong. Jesus is the only spiritual protection we need,” the flexible sensation told her followers.
Maroney appears to have hit pause on updating her social media. She last posted to Instagram in October of last year. Her account is followed by Olympic gymnasts Simone Biles and Nastia Lukin.
