Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin has worried her Instagram followers as she shows off another stylish outfit. The Russian-born former athlete is known for keeping fit and healthy. Likewise, for being on the slender side.
Posting an Instagram video showcasing a matching two-piece in August, Nastia flaunted her long legs in a leggy cream miniskirt and matching cardigan, going suited and booted for a winning look and even throwing in statement shades. Fans, however, are now expressing worry over in the comments section.
Nastia Liukin Shows Off Stylish Miniskirt Outfit
Striking poses from her stylish Texas home, Nastia posed amid tons of indoor flower decor as she modeled a thigh-skimming miniskirt in cream.
Clearly eyeing up fall as she opted for knitted fabrics, the five-time Olympic medalist sizzled with her toned legs on show, also peeping hints of her rock-hard abs via her slightly cropped cardigan. Nastia completed her look via knee-high boots in tan suede, also taking a moment to show that the cardigan was being worn over a tank that also coordinated with her skirt.
Told She’s Too Skinny
Nastia, who sparked an anorexia storm back in 2020, added in a full face of makeup and a brown shoulder bag while also whipping her blonde locks around for extra effect.
“Desperately awaiting fall* 🤎🍂☕️🧸Shop everything on my @shopmy page (link in bio!) except the 👢are NastiaLiukinxGianniBini launching this November at @dillards!!!” she wrote.
Gaining over 37 likes was a fan saying: “Are you okay? Are you struggling? We are here for you! ❤️.” Seemingly less inclined to send out a caring approach was a fan who skinny-shamed the star. “Desperately waiting to eat you mean? I won’t lie like everyone else. You need help and nutritional food,” they wrote.
“Cheeseburger?” a third added. Nastia does not appear to have addressed the hate, although she more than voiced her thoughts three years ago. In 2020, a fan called Nastia “borderline” anorexic-looking, and Nastia clapped back.
“It made me feel: defeated, p*ssed, sad, annoyed, confused, shocked, and many other feelings. If taking pictures of my OWN body — a body that won me many Olympic medals, a body that I push each day to get stronger, a body that God gave me — is inherently promoting anorexia, then honestly, we’ve gotten to a place in the world where just BEING is offensive,” Nastia fired back.
