Olivia Dunne made sure to wear white as she showed off her dinner dress on Instagram earlier this year. Jokingly asking: “Is this seat taken?” as she posed for a series of glam shots in June, the 21-year-old gymnast flaunted her athlete figure in a stylish evening look, going strapless in a tube minidress with a two-piece finish.
Despite gaining over 400,000 likes for her Manhattan, NY photos, Olivia raised eyebrows, with some asking her to censor a slide they felt showed too much. Olivia also fell under fire for showing so much skin in general, something some of her followers feel is an attempt to climb the fame ladder. The LSU star does not appear to have addressed the backlash.
Olivia Dunne Shows Instagram Her NYC Dinner Look
Sending out a cute, coy smile as she rested her elbows on a fancy long dinner table with friends, Olivia stunned in a shoulder-baring white crop top as she channeled the tube trend.
Flashing hints of her abs in her slightly ruched dress, the Vuori Clothing partner wore her hair down and partly tied back, delivering a sweet and innocent vibe as she showed off a flawless face of makeup complete with rosy pink cheek blush.
Pouting for a photo with two girlfriends in another slide, Olivia upped the ante with wild car action in a further photo, this time letting her top slip down just a tiny bit. Further photos included the NCAA athlete grabbing her chest, plus a figure-flaunting shot showing her seated at the restaurant.
Fans Asking Why Looks Are Always Skimpy
Causing drama as they gained over 40 likes, one user replied: “Why are u displaying your @$$ all the time?“
Gaining a similar number of Instagram likes was a fan saying: “Dude cover up your [chest] slips jesus you represent us be classy at least.”
Olivia has been slammed in the past for stripping down on social media, with fans calling her out for her Sports Illustrated Swim photos and overall body flaunting. That said, the blonde has shut down the shaming. Speaking to Elle, the TikTok favorite said:
“It’s not a girl’s responsibility how a man looks at her or how he acts, especially when you’re doing your sport and that’s your uniform. I can’t help the way I look, and I’m going to post what I feel comfortable with”
Olivia’s signature look is her glossy purple LSU leotard, but her feed equally brings fans pool looks, minidresses, skimpy shorts, plus tons of spandex workout gear as she promotes Vuori Clothing.
Dunne is also the face of lifestyle brand Nautica, pet brand Pro Plan, and energy drinks company Accelerator, among others.
