Olivia Dunne showed Instagram that gymnastics isn’t her only skillset in these photos, ones marking her presence in Hawaii and inviting fans to join her for a surf day. Delighting her 5.2 million followers in May 2022, Olivia showed off her summer body in swimwear as she rode the waves, showing her gymnast figure and her sense of fun and even throwing in a funky caption.
Dunne, who is the most-followed NCAA athlete on social media, gained over 500,000 likes for her sunkissed photos. The star has since made headlines for returning to Sports Illustrated Swim for a Portgual shoot — she made 2023 headlines for making her debut with the magazine.
Gymnast Olivia Dunne Shows Instagram Her Hawaiian Surfing
In a gallery of images that opened with her neck-deep in ocean waters, Olivia upped the surfer girl vibes as she rested one hand on her surfboard in her first photo, one showing her backed by a parasol-flanked beach, palms, and a fancy-looking hotel.
Smiling as she flaunted her ripped physique in a black two-piece in her second snap, the TikTok favorite stunned while surging amid large waves, showcasing her chiseled abs and toned legs and also highlighting her curves in her skimpy look. All wet-haired as she aced her moves, Olivia returned for a cheeky shot as she and a girlfriend both posed for a pouty-faced moment on their surfboards, with two further images seeing the blonde solo and once again with her gal pal.
She’s ‘Totally Tubular’
“Totally tubular,” Olivia captioned her post. The ’80s surfer term refers to something being super cool.
“The most cute,” one fan replied. Another, seemingly impressed, said: “Wow you are good.” Olivia is known for keeping her workouts varied, but gymnastics seems to be her main love.
“I started gymnastics when i was three years old because I wanted a sparkly pink leotard. But, little did I know what an exciting future was ahead of me. When I was five years old, I was invited to try out for the pre-team at my gym ENA,” she writes on her official website.
Fans, meanwhile, get plenty of gymnastics updates as Livvy joins her LSU Tigers team, but her Instagram is also a cash cow. The social media star has been capitalizing on her fame ever since the NIL reviewed its ban forbidding NCAA athletes to profit off their image, and for Olivia, this means a huge brand presence. In 2021, the star landed her first brand deal with Vuori Clothing. She has since gone on to sign with American Eagle, Forever 21, Plantfuel, and Nautica.
