Gypsy Rose Blanchard Says Marriage With Ken Urker Is Not “In The Cards Right Now”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is opening up about her rekindled romance with Ken Urker. In a new interview with Accessonline.com, the ex-con revealed whether she sees her and her ex-fiancé finally tying the knot after all these years. Although Blanchard couldn’t be happier with Urker, she admitted she doesn’t think they’ll get married anytime soon.

The reality star explained she and Urker are taking their time getting reacquainted, which is why they’re not rushing down the aisle. When asked about potential “wedding bells” in the couple’s future, Blanchard said:

I’m not gonna say no but that’s not exactly in the cards right now. We’re taking our time, we’re enjoying our time together. I’m feeling it out, marriage, potentially in the future! Just kind of taking it slow right now.

It seems Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker are taking a different approach to their relationship this time around. After meeting through a prison pen pal program in 2017, the pair quickly fell in love and were engaged by the following October. However, their whirlwind romance ended just as fast as it began. In the summer of 2019, they called it quits after just two years together.

Following their split, Blanchard started dating special education teacher Ryan Anderson at the height of the 2020 pandemic. Similar to her relationship with Urker, Blanchard connected with Anderson through letters after the Louisiana native reached out to her while she was incarcerated. After keeping in contact for two years, the couple made things official by getting married in July 2022.

Over a year later, Blanchard and Anderson began living together once she was released from prison in December 2023. Unfortunately, their marriage would soon fall apart. On March 28, Blanchard announced she and Anderson had separated. Less than two weeks later, The New York Times reported she had filed for divorce from Anderson on April 8.

Since then, Blanchard has decided to give her relationship with Urker another chance. Due to everything that’s happened over the past few months, Blanchard told Accessonline.com that her emotions have been on a “rollercoaster ride” since leaving prison. Despite all of the drama, Blanchard said she’s “very happy” right now as her relationship with Urker continues to thrive.
