It seems Gypsy Rose Blanchard will have to wait a little longer to attend her first Taylor Swift concert. The reality star revealed in a new Instagram post that she unfortunately had to miss the singer’s recent Eras Tour shows in New Orleans. Her reason for skipping is so relatable: She just couldn’t get tickets. While Blanchard is upset she won’t be seeing Swift in concert anytime soon; she cheered herself up by repping some of the pop star’s merch.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Just Wasn’t in the Cards
“Today is the second day of the Eras Tour in New Orleans and unfortunately, I can’t make it,” Gypsy Rose Blanchard said in a new Instagram video. “But that isn’t stopping me from wearing Taylor Swift-inspired attire and jewelry.”
The mom-to-be then proceeded to show off her “OOTD.” She began by flaunting a green “Cruel Summer” sweater with a pair of dice on the front. “I got [it] from the mall. it’s really cute,” Blanchard said. She also accessorized her outfit with a colorful friendship bracelet, which has become a staple at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concerts. On top of that, Blanchard paid tribute to some of her favorite Taylor Swift Eras by wearing a Lover-themed necklace and Reputation-inspired earrings.
After showing off her outfit, Gypsy Rose Blanchard revealed she couldn’t attend the Eras Tour due to two reasons. “I was really hoping to go but unfortunately I just couldn’t snag tickets,” she said. “And also I wasn’t expecting to be pregnant!”
Blanchard explained she couldn’t afford to splurge on the Eras Tour due to her “priorities” shifting as a new mother. While she won’t be seeing Swift in concert this time, she hopes she can catch the singer eventually. “I’m so happy for everybody that is going,” Blanchard said. “I think I’ll go to a concert at some point, it just won’t be this time around.”
