Gypsy Rose Blanchard is going to be a mother! The internet sensation rose to fame after being convicted for the death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who subjected her to medical child abuse. However, since being paroled in December 2023, Gypsy Rose has focused on turning her life around. That includes finding love and starting a family.
Just three months after reconnecting with her former fiance, Ken Urker, the lovebirds are welcoming their first child together. Gypsy broke the exciting news on Instagram with a collage of maternity photos. Although her bump wasnโt so visible, the 32-year-old activist and her boyfriend held a sonogram and a cute baby sweater. โWe are proud to announce we are expecting our first child in January 2025๐,โ she gushed in the accompanying caption.
In a nine-minute YouTube vlog, Gypsy detailed her pregnancy and confessed that it โwasnโt planned at all.โ Admitting that the pregnancy speculations are true, she revealed that she is 11 weeks pregnant.
Gypsy, who said she and Urker are โvery excitedโ about the journey, talked about her weird cravings. โThe first thing that I noticed was the cravings. So, I craved orange juice,โ she explained. She also praised her partner for handling her intense mood swings, calling him โvery graciousโ and โvery forgiving.โ The Louisana native noted that pregnancy has been a โbreezeโ so far, with no morning sickness.

Despite Gyspy and Urker being over the moon for their newest addition, fans don’t seem to share in their joy. Many expressed that the social media personality was moving too fast. “Didn’t your sister educate you about the morning-after pill? Girl, congrats, but damn, you move quick,” remarked one fan, while another penned, “Gypsy, you should have waited ๐ข youโve been on lockdown all your life. A baby is a blessing but you wonโt have freedom.“
Others, however, believed it was a great move for Gypsy to welcome a child. One fan expressed, “All you people telling her she shouldโve waited, lol.
