After announcing that her account on the video-sharing platform had been hacked earlier this week, the reality star has returned to social media with a hopeful update. On Sunday, Dec. 29, Blanchard posted an Instagram Story confirming she’s working on regaining control of her profile. So, it may only be a matter of time before she’s back on TikTok.
“I am in the process of getting my TikTok back into my possession and that is why the account is currently frozen,” Gypsy Rose Blanchard wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to everyone who attempted to assist with this unfortunate incident.”

The message comes just two days after Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s TikTok was hacked on Friday morning. After realizing what happened, the star immediately issued a PSA to her fans on Instagram. In her message, Blanchard revealed that she was no longer controlling her TikTok, so her followers should be wary since “anything posted from that account is not me.”
Blanchard shared DMs from her hacker as proof. The images confirmed that an anonymous user was demanding a $400 ransom from her for her account back. “If you pay money, I will give you your account,” the hacker told Blanchard.
The ex-con explained that she couldn’t afford the ransom since she’s “not a millionaire” and everything she does have is going toward her “child and bills.” Due to this, Blanchard told her hacker they could “keep” her account because it wasn’t worth the money. “If I can get it back great if not whatever,” she said.
Will Blanchard or Her Hacker Win Control?
At the time, it seemed like Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s TikTok would be lost forever. However, according to the star’s latest update, Blanchard isn’t going down without a fight. So, what changed? Blanchard didn’t give any details, but it’s possible she contacted TikTok HQ for help. After all, they were able to assist her with a similar incident last year.
Just days after leaving prison in December 2023, Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s TikTok was hacked by another mysterious user. Luckily, she regained control of her account after successfully changing her password. She then worked with TikTok HQ to get her username and profile picture back.
Hopefully, everything goes just as smoothly for Blanchard this time around.
