Hail, Caesar! takes place during Hollywood’s Golden Age. Actor Josh Brolin plays the role of a “studio fixer,” a person who is responsible for handling jobs for the studio that no one else wants to do. He is tasked to track down a famous movie star — played by George Clooney — who disappeared from the set and held for ransom by a group called “The Future.” Whether the star was actually abducted or not, that’s anyone’s guess.

Hail, Caesar! draws a sharp contrast to the Coen Brothers’ 2013 film Inside Llewyn Davis. Like their previous film, Hail Caesar! is set in a historically accurate time period with zany, fictional characters. The comedy’s colorful and elaborate set pieces are reminiscent of their beloved cult classic The Big Lebowski.

The movie, which was first announced in 2004, features several musical numbers and a star-studded cast. Clooney and Brolin are joined by Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum, Ralph Fiennes, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Jonah Hill.

Hail, Caesar! opens on February 5, 2016.
