343 Industries has been hard focusing on their latest FPS title, Halo Infinite. After the first month’s launch period, the title has progressed quite well and offered a fresh Halo experience. The criticism levied against Halo Infinite’s lack of content is an important discussion. With just a handful of modes and customization options allowed, many fans were furious over the limited content available. Despite this, 343 has been working tirelessly to make the Halo Infinite experience less repetitive. Yet a particular bug has made that work more complicated in recent months. Yet, while the Xbox and PC game have been out for a while, 343 Industries have finally released a patch to hotfix the connection issues. Announced through Twitter, 343 Industries has finally released a hotfix for the big team battle connection issues.
A #HaloInfinite hotfix is now live with updates to Oddball and minor matchmaking improvements for BTB. If you're currently playing, close and relaunch Halo Infinite to install (1GB or less). What Was Added In Halo Infinite’s Big Team Battle Hotfix Patch?
While the big team battle issues have only presented themselves for about a month, these issues have prevented quite a bit of the player base from playing to their heart’s content. Without a whole fireteam for a big team battle, many users felt like they were missing out on the experience. The big team battle hotfix will also allow smoother queues into the big team Battle game mode. Preventing fireteams from getting into the same game, the big team battle hotfix is crucial for the longevity of Halo Infinite. The patch also adds some oddball fixes to the collision of the ball itself. Making it much more responsive and interactive with the collision of the map, the ball shouldn’t get stuck in odd places anymore. The hotfix also adds five challenge swaps, and double XP boosts to compensate for the lost time.
