This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

In the “House of Reckoning” mission of Halo Infinite, after dealing with firefight arenas to reach Escharum, a number of players reported that they end up being stuck in the level. Tortured by the repeated recording of “Marry had a little lamb” for hours, fans desperately tried to continue through the mission before it overtook their mind. However, it’s actually not so much a bug, but more of a bad game design (arguably). Here’s how you can escape from the — quoting Escharum — “looping, repeating forever” audio in Halo Infinite “House of Reckoning”.

After you get to the huge hangar with a bunch of weapon lockers, get inside the huge structure in the middle of the hangar from the metallic slope. Just as you enter the structure, you should find the Pilot’s family holographic recording disc-thingy lying on the floor in front of sandbags. Grabbing it will trigger a cutscene where Blademaster Jega ‘Rdomnai makes an entrance and starting the boss fight. There is no waypoint marker for the disc, so while it does glow in the dark, it is pretty easy to miss it.

There are also hidden switches that will let you spawn a Rocket Warthog to help you clear the mobs in the “House of Reckoning” arena:

  1. Before entering the second arena, go up the stairs to the platform above Escharum’s hologram message. On the wall of the platform, there should be a red button waiting to be pressed.
  2. Enter the arena, use your Grappleshot to get to the top of the large tower in the center of the arena. Press the switch.
  3. From the top of the tower, see around to spot a ceiling above a metal beam on the far right side of the room. Use the Grappleshot again to reach the metal beam and get to the button.
