343 Industries has been preparing for their upcoming foray into season 2. While the fans are wondering where the content is, 343i has been saving many of its upgrades for season 2. Set to launch in early May, Halo Infinite’s season 2 is shaping up to be a veritable upgrade to what launched in November. While the multiplayer was in the beta phase, many people thought the game was rushed by Microsoft, severely lacking in many areas. Yet, fans had not known how much work would go into bringing Halo Infinite to where it is today. After many playlist additions, bug fixes, and unplayable big team battles, Halo Infinite has struggled to maintain a presence in the sea of free-to-play live service games. Yet, Season 2 has received a trailer already showcasing the two maps coming alongside the turn of the next season. Today, 343i shared a new video showcasing a few upcoming game modes launching on May 3rd with Halo Infinite Season 2 Lone Wolves.
What Game Modes Are Launching With Halo Infinite Season 2?
While the trailer briefly goes over just a handful of modes, the attached blog post details many others. The trailer itself focuses on a few modes long-time Halo Infinite fans have been waiting for. King of the hill, land grab, last spartan standing, and elimination are all great additions. They’re each an example of variation in gameplay fans have been asking for. King of the hill and land grab may seem similar due to the singular point. Elimination and last spartan standing are all about surviving and outliving the competition. While the last spartan standing mode seems like a precursor to a battle royale, leaks have been corroborating a mode like that for upcoming Halo seasons. Yet, while Season 2 is just a few weeks away, fans will have to wait for more news to release soon.
